Queens is one of the last untarnished neighborhoods in New York City. Every sector of Queens, albeit different seem to all merge into this one big canvas of colors. I am a Queens girl at heart. I’ve been around a few Queens blocks – to say the least and quite frankly, I’d have it no other way.
From Astoria to Howard Beach to Forest Hills to Corona to The Rockaways to Jackson Heights. Queens really is the last standing borough of what dreams are made of. From the food to it’s diversity of people, there is nothing in the world like Queens.
Queens made me. I attended Resurrection Ascension as a child, then went to Christ the King and Forest Hills and attended Queens College and finally graduated from Baruch. Whew…I said that in one breath. You get my drift. Queens is the underdog, but let’s enjoy it while we can. It’s not bringing back good Ole Shea that’s for sure.
When entrusting the sale of your home with a Realtor, not only is it important that you choose a Realtor that is knowledgable on the market but a person that gets Queens, I mean one just doesn’t get to know Queens because one flew here a few years ago…they can learn to appreciate sure, but us Queens folks get it. So when you do decide it’s time to sell, rent or buy, I don’t think Queens would have it any other way, Queens made, Queens Sold. After- all it is the Borough of the World.
Whether you are thinking of that big move or just curious to know more about this wonderful borough. Give me a call.
